What credentials do the coaches have?
All of our coaches have coaching experience at the middle school level or greater and are current coaches. They are all members of the AAU organization and have been certified by USA Basketball.
What do player fees cover?
Player fees vary by level and tournament cost. Included in each player fee is:
- AAU membership for the season
- Nike Uniform
- Shooting shirt
- Backpack
- Tournament Fees
- Facility Use Fees
- Coaching Stipend
- Administrative Fees
Where do practices take place?
Practice venues, days, and times vary by team. Practices will generally be held at various schools in Knoxville. Each team will practice twice a week. We do our best to schedule practices for Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday nights.
How long is the season?
Our season generally runs March through May. Some teams may want to continue doing extra tournaments, but that is up to the team. After May, the tournament cost and registration falls on the families. This can be further discussed with the coach as the season comes to a close.
Where are tournaments?
Generally speaking, we try to stay local (within an hour driving distance from Knoxville) for most tournaments, especially at the elementary level. We are fortunate that the basketball competition is great in our area, but if a team wants to travel and experience new competition, we will support that as well.
